Causes and Effects of pollution

What is Pollution?
Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into natural environment that cause harmful effects. Pollution is of many types which are as follow:
Land Pollution:
Land pollution is the destruction of Earth's surfaces, often caused as result of man's activities and the misuse of land.

Water Pollution:
Water Pollution occurs when harmful substances are introduced to water bodies i.e lakes, rivers, streams etc.it effects aquatic species as well as other living organisms.

Air Pollution:
Air Pollution refers to the release of pollutants into the air that are detrimental to human health and the planet as a whole.

Causes of Pollution:

2.Agricultural activities
3.Exhaust from industries and factories
4.Mining operations
5.Indoor air pollution
6.Sewage and wastewater
Effects of pollution:
1.Respiratory and heart problems
2.Global warming
3.Acid rain
4. Eutrophication
5.Effect on wildlife
6.Depletation of ozone layer
